This site is dedicated to the memory of Rev.Omer Boswell (O.B.) Rogers Sr and 
Mable Edna (Canfield) Rogers.

They were married On October 6th 1928 in Denton Texas. She was a homemaker and 
a Ministers wife raising eight children, three girls and five boys. They had 
twenty seven grandchildren.
Rev. O.B. Rogers served as a minister in the North Texas Conference of the 
United Methodist Church for thirty four years. He was licensed as a Rural 
Preacher in 1934, accepted into the Conference in 1937, ordained as a Deacon in 
1939 and ordained as an Elder in 1941. During this time the family lived in 
nine different communities while He served a total of twenty six churches.
During his thirty four years of service he also served as the Executive 
Secretary of the Town and Country Commission of the conference for fifteen 
years.
